From the producers of Lion and The King's Speech, the film explores the relationship between father and son, from the failure of the former to fulfill his role to the crisis suffered by the young teenager. The film also delves into various mental health issues.
Starring Laura Dern (The Founder), Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Hopkins, and Hugh Jackman, the film is an adaptation of the play by Florian Zeller, who has decided to direct and co-write the screenplay for this cinematic version to test his creativity and ensure that the story is told in the right way.
