With a versatile, rising career, actor Dev Patel is preparing for the release that will establish his adult facet as an artist.
This British man of Indian descent, raised in a London suburb, will be the main character in The Green Knight, a historical fantasy film directed by visionary filmmaker David Lowery.
The film will immerse us in a medieval epic with the new version of 'Sir Gawain and the Green Knight', the metrical romance of the late 14th century composed of four poems.
A fresh turn on the eternal Arthurian legend
At the age of 30, Patel embodies Sir Gawain, the Knight of the Round Table and stubborn nephew of King Arthur, who will test his honor by facing the Green Knight, a "giant of emerald skin and a tester of men", played by Ralph Ineson.
Patel will also be joined by well-known faces such as Alicia Vikander, Joel Edgerton, Barry Keoghan and Sean Harris, among other figures.
