Mandy Moore on Midway: “I was never part of something so big before”

The renowned actress shines in the war movie Midway

Mandy Moore returns to theaters with Midway, based on the shocking true events of one of the most important and decisive battles of World War II.

 

Moore's statements on set

 In the film directed by the acclaimed director of Independence Day, Roland Emmerich, Moore plays the wife of a historic aviator and hero of the contest that confronted the US with Japan, played on screen by Ed Skrein.

  "It's a pleasure to work with him," Moore said about him during an interview on set and added: "He's a gentleman, I adore him, he's stoic and strong."

 In addition, when asked about what it is like to work under Emmerich's direction, the actress said that his films "are always visually incredible", and emphasized: "I was never part of something so big before."

 The popular American actress finished: “as they have recreated the stages or the aircraft of that time… it really feels as if you were in the 40s. When the world as it looked at that time surpasses you, it makes your work exceptional”.

 Midway will mark a milestone for war movies. You cannot miss it!
