For the fourth time together on the big screen, the chemistry between Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder improves greatly over time.
Destination wedding starts with the merit of bringing together these two undisputed icons of the seventh art that immerses them in an unexpected and biting romance.
More requested than ever, in the midst of her success with the acclaimed Stranger Things, Ryder received the screenplay for Destination wedding, in whose authorship and address appeared the name of the filmmaker Victor Levin. And she did not hesitate.
But Ryder not only said yes, but sent the play to his old friend and colleague Reeves, who immediately agreed to co-star in the story. "Once both actors were on board, finding funding was suddenly very easy," recalls Levin.
