A few days ago, the film directed by Pablo Larraín and starring Kristen Stewart was released in theaters in the United States. The film tells a part of the life of the world-renowned Princess Diana: the last vacation she spent at Sandringham Castle before making the decision to separate from Prince Charles.
Spencer is one of the films anticipated to be a hit in the awards season, and its U.S. opening seems to bode well for a long run with a $2.2 million box office and a per screen average of $2,158.
It is a feature film that has been in important festivals - Venice, Toronto, London, among others - and has managed to be considered by the specialized critics as one of the big bets for the upcoming awards season.
The film will be released in theaters in Brazil on November 11 and the dates for the rest of Latin America are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
