The Hollywood Academy, hosted by Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, announced today the films nominated for the 2021 Oscar Awards. Minari earned 6 nominations including Best Picture, Best Director (Lee Isaac Chung) and Best Actor (Steven Yeun). This is the first time an Asian-American actor is nominated in this category. Moreover, Andra Day scored once again the nomination for Best Actress for her portrayal of the famous jazz singer Billie Holiday.
