Did someone say awards season? Of course we did! And since we couldn't be left out, Diamond Films will host a virtual Oscar red carpet for Latin America with films that have won or have been nominated for awards in past seasons.
Also joining this great event are some media outlets such as the newspaper El Comercio from Peru, Home Sentry and the subscribers of the club El Tiempo both from Colombia, and Providencia Cultural Center from Chile. Pedidos Ya and Grupo Planeta will also participate at the regional level.

Moonlight was the Oscar winning title for Best Picture in 2017. Mahershala Ali also took home the award for Best Supporting Actor and Barry Jenkins won the Academy award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
Lion earned six Academy Award nominations: Best Motion Picture, Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role (Dev Patel), Best Supporting Actress in a Supporting Role (Nicole Kidman), Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography and Original Score.
Hacksaw Ridge won in the Best Film Editing and Best Sound Mixing categories. It also scored nominations for Best Picture, Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role (Andrew Garfield), Best Director (Mel Gibson) and Best Sound Editing.
Moreover, attendees will get to watch the trailers of the films nominated for the Academy Awards 2021, such as Minari and The United States vs. Billie Holiday.
