When it seemed that the mysterious Brahms porcelain doll had been defeated, the actress Katie Holmes takes charge to be the protagonist of The Boy 2.
Unaware of the terrifying story of the Heelshire mansion, Liza (Holmes) moves with her son Jude (the young promise Christopher Convery) to a guest house of the country house. The little boy soon befriends a disturbing doll named Brahms.
The film is the return of Katie Holmes after films like Disturbing Behavior (1998), The Gift (2000) and Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark (2011)- produced by Guillermo del Toro who is currently behind Scary stories to tell in the dark.
This return to the horror genre with The Boy 2 will be a great success for Holmes’ career, who has the necessary experience to carry forward the story of this terrifying doll.
