International Day of Friendship

We recommend several movies to celebrate!

Saturday, July 30 is International Day of Friendship, and, unlike the last few years with the pandemic, we can now go out to celebrate, either in a bar, restaurant, or nightclub.

However, if you are part of a group of friends who prefer to avoid crowds, then the best plan may be a gathering at home, a nice dinner and a movie. Here are two Diamond films for you to enjoy the day:

Petite Maman: The film follows Nelly, who has just lost her grandmother and is helping her parents clean out her mother's childhood home. One day she meets a girl her age who is building a tree house and it only takes a few words to forge a friendship, sealed with a quick visit to Marion's house, which, oddly enough, seems very familiar.

Green book: the film starring Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali tells the story of Tony Lip, who works as a security agent at the Copacabana, one of the most successful nightclubs in New York. Unfortunately, Tony is fired and has to look for a new job, which will lead him to become Don Shirley’s chauffeur, a prestigious pianist who will hire his services for a tour through the South of the United States. They will forge a friendship along the way that will invite them to reflect and rethink different concepts and ideas they had before they met.
