The most anticipated trailer of the year is finally here! Directed by William Brent Bell (The Boy; Brahms: The Boy II) and starring Isabelle Fuhrman and Julia Stiles (Hustlers), the prequel about the beginnings of the evil "girl" Esther is soon to be released.
What will the story be like? The film will focus on Esther’s dark past, an adult killer who looks like a child due to her medical condition called hypopituitarism. She will try to escape from a psychiatric clinic in Estonia and come to the United States to torment a Connecticut family.
And that's not all! One of the big surprises of the prequel is the return of Isabelle Fuhrman, who is twenty-five years old, in the role of the murderer girl. The actress will play again a character who looks nine years old thanks to the great production team who had to use prosthetics, makeup, cameras, and lighting to give the illusion of youth. Two girls also joined the team as body doubles so that Isabelle Fuhrman could look like the girl she portrays.
