IndieWire's review of The Roads Not Taken

"The Roads Not Taken is an amazing mental story that finds Sally Potter returning to the Berlinale (nickname of the festival) for the ninth time," said the specialized media.

The story introduces us to Leo (Bardem), a patient with dementia who is affected by the different lives he might have led after leaving his native soil, thus living three parallel realities at the same time.

The arrival of his daughter Molly (Elle Fanning) will be a turning point. In a brief 24-hour visit, the young woman will face the complex situation of her father's medical situation.
