Everything Everywhere All at Once is the most nominated film at the 2023 Oscars

Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheiner's film received eleven Academy Award nominations

Everything Everywhere All at Once follows a Chinese immigrant who must save humanity by traveling to other universes, but this leads to an even greater challenge when she finds herself lost in the infinite worlds of the multiverse. The film explores the concept of parallel realities to tell another story: the relationship between a mother and her daughter.

The film was a huge box office success, remained in theaters for several months, and continues to receive its well-deserved recognition during the awards season. This week the Academy Award nominees were announced and the film stood out in eleven categories.

Everything Everywhere All at Once features an outstanding cast: Michelle Yeoh, who is nominated for Best Actress, Jamie Lee Curtis and Stephanie Hsu, who are nominated for Best Supporting Actress, and Ke Huy Quan for Best Supporting Actor. The latter began his career in the early 1980s with films produced and directed by Steven Spielberg. He later walked away from Hollywood believing that there were no more opportunities for him. However, Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheiner chose him to play Waymond Wang and the rest is history.

The film is also nominated for Best Costumes, Best Editing, Original Score, and Best Original Song. The creators of this wonderful film were not left behind as they also received recognition in the categories of Best Original Screenplay and Best Director.

This incredible story has a great chance of taking home the statuette for Best Picture. Do you think it will win? What are your bets?
