Midnight in Paris
Synopsis
Gil (Owen Wilson) and Inez (Rachel McAdams) are an American couple about to get married that travels a few days to Paris. The magic of the city surrounds especially Gil, who is in love with the capital and dreams with a different life. After midnight, reality transforms surprisingly and the young shares exciting experiences with great art personalities and intellectuals, such as Picasso and Salvador Dalí. Besides that Gil feels inevitably attracted to a charming woman (Marion Cotillard). This romantic comedy talks about the illusion people have about a completely different life they are living and noticeably better. It is a magical journey to Paris of the 20’s where the city lights and embellishes to revive the legendary golden meetings of intellectuals. “Midnight in Paris” has become the highest grossing film of Woody Allen’s history, having raised over $ 56 million in the United States.
