Synopsis
Set in 1960’s Los Angeles, “A Single Man”, is the story of a romance on the back burner and the importance of the little things in life. It is about George Falconer (Colin Firth), an English university professor who looks for new meaning in his life after the sudden loss of a dear friend and begins to, bit by bit, find joy and solace in the everyday and ordinary- with the help of his friend Charley (Julianne Moore) and Kenny (Nicholas Hoult), a student in his class who is trying to accept his own nature.
