Immaculate: a month after its release

Sydney Sweeney's film is a hit!

Immaculate follows Cecilia, a fervently devout nun who ventures to a remote convent in the Italian countryside in search of spiritual consecration. However, what initially promised to be a spiritual encounter turns into a dark and terrifying nightmare. As she explores the corridors and hidden corners of the convent, Cecilia uncovers sinister secrets and unspeakable horrors that defy all logic and reason.

Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney ventures into a new genre: horror. Director Michael Mohan’s film is a combination of terror and mysticism. The shooting of this story took place in Rome, so most of the supporting cast is Italian, including Simona Tabasco, Benedetta Porcaroli, and Niccolò Senni. Álvaro Morte, the actor of the famous Spanish series Money Heist, is also part of this great project.

The film raises questions about the devotion and limits of the human being in the face of the unexplored. It also explores sensitive issues related to religion, as the protagonist, a young nun, becomes pregnant in a convent without having had sexual relations. Therefore, the film establishes connections and contrasts with another figure of Catholicism, the Virgin Mary.

The plot of Immaculate is intriguing, it has an incredible and talented cast and superb direction. Are you ready to watch it on the big screen? The film is in theaters throughout Latin America.
