Adam Driver in a catchy political thriller

The actor of Logan Lucky doubles the bet in The Report

After starring in Logan Lucky, the ever-versatile Adam Driver now surprises with the political thriller The Report, where he plays a US Senate official during the attack on the World Trade Center in 2001.

This is the new film by acclaimed filmmaker Scott Z. Burns and it became one of the most popular films of the last Sundance Film Festival.

When the State itself breaks the law

The film tells the details of the CIA's secret torture program with extreme interrogation tactics against people presumably related to the attacks.

In an interpretation classified as "brilliant", Driver plays Daniel Jones in his quest for justice during the struggle that led to make public the report that proved the accusations of torture and "the separation of powers of the Nation and the rule of law".

With a cast made up of figures like Annette Bening and Jon Hamm, the character is a believer of "accountability" in a disrupted context where rules were changing.

The Report is a unique opportunity to know firsthand a true hero and his tireless search for the truth.
